We write to you in unprecedented circumstances and our first thoughts are with all of our members and their loved ones at this difficult and worrying time.
Please find below copies of the wording of the letters that the National Trust are sending to all tenants in regard to the difficulties that they may be experiencing as a result of COVID-19.
We are currently liaising with the National Trust on behalf of all of our tenant members some of whom we know are concerned about their financial situation and rent payments at this difficult time.
Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 crisis we have cancelled our AGM planned for the 17th May.
In March 2019 we were able to share with you the progress we had made with The National Trust regarding the granting of significantly longer lease extensions.
It is with great regret that I have to tell you all that Karen Burrell our TANT colleague and National Trust long lease tenant passed peacefully away in Exeter Hospice on Saturday night, the 31st August with Richard her husband at her side.
The Holnicote Tenants Association object very strongly to the suggested closure of Porlock Fire Station. The Fire Service stated evidence confirms that elderly people are more likely to die in household fires.
TANT held it’s 2019 AGM in Quatt on the NT Dudmaston Estate in Shropshire on the 12th May, attended by the officers, local members and some who had travelled considerable distances.
