Offering Accommodation to Ukrainian Refugees
TANT are pleased to inform you that the National Trust has confirmed their support for tenants providing temporary accommodation for refugees escaping the war in Ukraine. Should you wish to offer temporary accommodation you should contact your Estate Manager or lettings officer who will then be able to discuss the matter in more detail. The Trust must be satisfied that any offer of temporary accommodation is suitable, appropriate and does not breach any statutory legislation, such as Houses in Multiple Occupation. Once a proposal is agreed, you will be asked to sign a short agreement detailing the arrangement. The Trust will NOT seek any extra rent for such proposals and the payment of £350 per month is tax free.
