Communication between the senior management of the National Trust and it’s tenants was the order of the day at the village hall in Allerford, West Somerset recently when Director General Hilary McGrady, accompanied by Mark Harold, Director for Land and Nature, met with some 50 residential, agricultural and commercial tenants.

Hilary McGrady is the new director general of the National Trust having been the chief operating officer for 12 years of service.

TANT, The Tenants Association of the National Trust welcomes the announcement that The National Trust has at last agreed to remove the immense financial uncertainty for the vast majority of their long leaseholders of Modern Ground Rent.
